Gary Meyer.

Creative ideas, validated by data.

I run three companies — Attention Strategy, Media Audit Group, and Property Bounty. The framework underneath them is Attention Theory, which I built and gave away. I write about what I'm learning at the intersection of attention, AI, and marketing.

What I'm building.

A working belief

"100 people remembering you is worth more than one person clicking through."

What clients say.

"Placeholder quote. Replace with a real client testimonial — ideally with a named person, title, and company. A single specific quote here will lift conversions more than any other change on this page."

Get in touch

Hi.
Let's chat.

Strategy work, audits, workshops, talks, podcasts, or you just want to compare notes on attention and AI — drop a line. I read everything.

[email protected]

Do you take direct client work?

Yes — alongside what I do through the three companies, I take on a small number of direct engagements per year.

What does an engagement look like?

Either a 1–2 week intensive (audit or workshop) or a 3–6 month fractional embed. The first call decides the shape.

Speaking or podcast inquiries?

Always open to good conversations. Best topics: AI marketing, Attention Theory, agentic workflows, marketing-leader-as-builder.

Just want a 30-minute chat?

Sure. Send a note with what's on your mind. If it's interesting to both of us, we'll set time.

Take what's useful.

Free. Take it.

Working beliefs · 06

What I actually think.

  1. Attention compounds.
  2. Data can validate an idea. It cannot generate one.
  3. Be impossible to ignore.
  4. AI should handle the mundane, not outsource the taste.
  5. Good strategy should feel obvious in hindsight.
  6. Keep cutting until the idea is painfully simple to explain.

Creative ideas, validated by data

I built a career on data-first marketing. Then I learned why creative ideas — not data — drive action, and what the right relationship between the two looks like.
